A little curiosity. A lot of character.

Make letters
with personality.

Turn a small idea into a typeface of your own.
Shape it, fine-tune it, and see it come to life in words.

A browser-based font workbench, in private preview

An illustrated type workshop with original letterforms, editable nodes, spacing guides, and a Hello, you proof card.
A little illustration of the process. Your letters are up to you.

From first shape to first sentence

Find your type.
One detail at a time.

You don’t need the whole alphabet figured out. Start with a direction, then make it your own.

01

Shape the idea

Start a font and adjust its Design DNA. Explore weight, proportion, and character with a procedural ASCII alphabet as your starting point.

02

Refine the details

Move glyph points, adjust advance widths, and tune the space between letter pairs. Small changes give the whole font its rhythm.

03

Proof it in words

Try your letters together in a font-backed proof. Look closely, go back, and keep refining before downloading your draft.

Take your work for a spin

Your next idea.
In your own letters.

Download a draft in TTF, OTF, WOFF, or WOFF2 and keep exploring. Exports are working drafts: review the outlines, metadata, rights, and embedding permissions before any release.

About Hooked on Fonts

A small studio.
Room to grow.

This private preview is focused on the hands-on loop: make a font, edit its letters, proof, and export a draft.

What can I make right now?

A procedural ASCII font with editable glyph points, advance widths, and pair kerning. You can proof the generated font and download draft TTF, OTF, WOFF, or WOFF2 files.

Is AI part of this preview?

The editor has an optional AI workflow that requires separate configuration and an approved allowance. Signing in does not enable AI access.

Can I create an account?

New font workspace registration is closed. Clerk verifies your sign-in; workspace access is checked separately and is limited to approved accounts. Signing in or creating a Clerk identity does not open a font workspace.

Are my exported fonts release-ready?

Exports are engineering drafts, not finished release packages. Review proof quality, naming, rights, metadata, and embedding restrictions before distributing or releasing a typeface.
